Hi Alison I've been there

Penny's picture

We visited an extraordinary art exhibition a few years ago in the crypt of St Pancras Church. Amazing location, and I seem to think the exh was called "The Burial of Isabella Dale". What a location! Opposite is a dance academy, and you can go there are eat: all the girls are on starvation diets to be those floaty little ballerinas, and ordering plates of just sweet corn! Yes, I find London a far friendlier city than the one I live in. It feels like a genuine melting pot and meeting place, and there is so much to see and do I'd think it was heaven except for my feet reminding me. The singing in the churchyard sounds wonderful - wish I'd been there - now that REALLY would have woken a few sleepers! xxxx Penny

the best of it is

i am tone deaf, so imagine what a great voice i have!!!!!!!!! i love london, cos its so inpersonal, and i felt so right, and that doesn't happen that often!!!!!!!!!!

Me too!

Tone deaf/loving the impersonal! We could have had a go at Rossini's "Duet for Tewo Cats". The words are very easy "Mee-eee-ooooww--oowwww!" abd variations on that. xxxx Penny

Tell us Alison, what did you take ???
singing in the churchyard in London is okay, but to Leonard Cohen, !!!!
glad you are still here and didn't slit your wrists, Only joking.
Most people around you were too stoned to take any notice anyway.
Glad it made you feel good, did you wake the dead by any chance?? Oh no I forgot it was Leonard Cohen you were singing, they would not get up and walk for that, then again , maybe they would just to get away from it. LOL
Love to you and your lovely family, looks like they may get a dry Glastonbury
