pink and fluffy wont to say thank you to all of you

hi all just a blog to say a big thank you have helped me to keep me happy . as you all know i a very happy happy lady as thats the ways i am but all of you have keeped me happy to . some days on chemo i have had dark days but i pop on here and find some one to talk and i fill great again . today i when to the next city to do clothe shopping yuk yuk yuk i dont like this it makes me so sad as i put on 3 st and i dont like clothes in shop i like diff things and being a big old bird shops think you have to dress like a old lady . i not old (41) and never well be lol . i pink and fluffy lol and like being this . THANK YOU AGIAN FOR ALL YOU HELP LOVE TO ALL XXXXXXX JILLY ANN XXXXXXXX

As another big old bird, I look at Ambrose Wilson sites. Fifty Plus, which has lovely clothes from 12 - 38. They have wide shoes too, but not so fashionable. Worth a look. Some of the clothes are really lovely, but don't look right on me because of the underwear which has to be comfortable. Nobody says I look awful, I prefer blue and not fluffy, but I'm sure I've seen lots of fluffy for those that like it.

I send for things, and if I don't like them, I send them back. I've done it for years, and once you are a customer, they send little catalogues of things they have on offer. Really low prices too. I tend to buy them out of season, and they are just waiting for me when the season comes round. It's often the fluffy that gets left for the sales.

Hi Jilly Ann - yes your love of life comes across really well in your Blog. I think we all have the "dark" days, when we could go somewhere we maybe don't want to go, so I'm sure you'll have lots of heads nodding in understanding when they read that bit. I can sympathise with you regarding the weight gain, as I've put on 2 and half stones since I started being treated. Again, like you I am no longer "over keen" ons shopping for clothes - well not just now anyway. You're not old at all at only 41, and neither am I at only 55 LOL. Staying young at heart is a good goal to aim for, eh? Stay happy, with lotsa love kate xxxxxxxx

hello jilly ann,i am glad you find this site fun and helpful.i also hope you have a great weekend away with simon.it would be nice to hear you had some funny times and times that you will have some wonderful memories to cherish.thank you for cheering me up the nights we have spoken and making me laugh too.41 is not old you are right i am 41 going on 21 and i try to enjoy life too.they say life begins when you reach 40 so our lives only begun just over a year ago so we must have lots more to enjoy.but yes it is sometimes not so easy like you say when we can think about things to much or be suffering in some way.we do all have the days but it can be made alot better by this site when you met someone who helps and understands.because you have to have been there or been affected by a loved one who has to understand how cancer does turn your life upsidedown and insideout.well it has been lovely to chat to you and i hope to do again soon. plus where will the men go they might not want to come in a pink or fluffy room they might need a blue and tely room with a remote control,lol.love from sue xxxx
