Where has the time gone. So much has happen yet nothing has happened - do you know what I mean? We got through the holidays - Thanks to God.

Well That's the fourth chemo over with. I did wonder whether \i would be able to have it today because the cough is still here and although it sounds pretty dreadful it really isn't no infection etc. So when the doctor asked me what I wanted to do I said go ahead with it. The chemo nurse had to search for a vein , nothing new there then.

hi i'm new to site. i'm a 42 year old single mum and was diagnosed with bowel cancer with secondary liver cancer in june last year. i had 4 cycles of chemotherpy and i'm in remission. which is good news however emotionally i'm all over the place and feel very lonely at times. my girls are great and i keep it together for them.

Hi guys.................Yesterday I saw my consultant and tonight I am in hospital for fluids at midnight and chemo 10 in the morning, my last chemo of this batch anyway. I get a break for six weeks and inbetween I have a CT scan. It is THE SCAN, the one that will make all the difference.

Just got back from having my third cycle of chemotherapy, feel OK apart from sickness which isn't too bad at the moment. My main reaction when having the treatment is to the Cyclophosphamide, I get a pain behind my eyes a bit like headache or sinus pain but luckily this only lasted about 20 minutes this time.

The operation 7th November.2008

Off to the next radiation treatment shortly. I've had a productive morning putting all of my appointments into the computer and letting my fingers go cold. It's somewhere between 0 and -6 today apparently. Cracking. Dutchcloggie bought me a nice blanket for Christmas (with sleeves - image search for 'Slanket' if you're interested) but I haven't managed to take it out of it's bag this morning.

Only yesterday morning I was replying to one of the members blogs that the side affects of Radium get better in time,as yesterday morning I felt well, unfortunatley by the afternoon I felt awful again,not bad this morning but I don't trust it lol.Don't want to bother the Lung nurses got a Dr's appt on the 15th so hoping to hold out till then, was warned that side affects could last up to 2 months,

Hi All my daughter had 5th round of chemo yesterday only one to go. She has been offered a trial drug for when her chemo ends but only a 5o% chance of getting the drug and 50% she will get a fake drug it is hoped it may slow down the growth of her tumours so fingers crossed.
