breast cancer

I hate the waiting - it is growing as we speak! mostly I am freaked out by what they find when they test the sentinal node. So far the doctor said that I could just have a lumpectomy with radiation but I think I want to remove anything that could be a problem later on - so I have chosen to have a double mastectomy - in 4 days time.I'm just not sure if I have enough information to make the right choice. I am having reconstruction at the same time - implants under the muscle - I am very active and am hoping that this proceedure will not slow me down once it has healed.
