CUP - cancer of unknown primary. Information sought!

KellyLyn has posted about her father's DX with secondary mets for which the docs cannot yet find a primary.

Does that ring a bell here with anyone? It may turn out to be CUP (Cancer of Unknown Primary - rare but it happens!)

I seem to think there is a patient here with a cancer they can't find the primary for, or am I getting things muddled up with another board??!!!

(KL's from Canada, so I thought I would post myself, because of time differences that may delay her getting fast answers!)
