drug called octreotide anybody got any advice

hi my partner was diagnosed with malignant thymoma in 2005. Has had two lots of chemo which resulted in partial remission.

In May last year he started monthly injecttions of octreotide and it was going well the tumour shrunk a little. However 7 weeks ago my husband started to have very low blood pressure, low heart rate, lost appetite, stomach pain, very dry mouth (the dry mouth started last year but has got so bad that my husband hasnt eaten for 6-7 weeks)and a rash.

He has been in hospital for 5 weeks and Drs dont know what wrong they given him blood pressure tablets.

he has had ct scans to check the cancer has not spread,

Our Oncologist hasnt been very supportive and keeps saying the symptoms are not the cause of the octeotride. However we did some research and found all the symptoms my husband is having were linked to this medication

has anybody any knowledge of this drug and ANY adivce would be appriciated.
