Dry skin on implant area

Dry skin on implant area

I have had dry / flaking skin were my implant is and have tried several different moisture creams including e45 but none of them worked. The only thing that did work eventually was Arnica Cream (which is a herbal remedy used for bruising) i still use it a couple of times a week to massage the area. Im not sure about using it if your on Warfarin or Asprin though, you would have to see your GP first. You might find these webites usful too as they do good quality creams and oils. Try Bayhouse aromatics or vits4u websites. I hope this is of help to some of you as it took me ages to find something that works, so I know how frustrating it is.
And remeber this isnt a rehersal, this is life so make the most of every day.

creams

Hi there, I`m not suere whether this will be helpful to you but if not it might make you laugh. When I was on my last lot of chemo one of the side effects of the drug was a bad skin reaction. I suffered this on my wrists, arms, feet, knees and thighs. It varied from looking like measles rash to psariasis.Nothing the doctors prescribed worked but a nurse mentioned something that another patient had tried.Udder cream!!! Yes cream used for cows and horses to prevent sore udders. I was sceptical but sent for some online. It is made of all natural products such as aloe vera, tea tree, castor oil.It worked, and left my skin lovely and soft.whether it would have cleared up in time anyway i dont know but it helped me when I needed it.
