Hi there and welcome. It sound as though you are doing well after your surgery and are now having lots of questions about the next steps - which is very understandable. It isnt for us to answer your question because that decision will be different for different people. Even if someone has the same type of cancer in the same place - your different oncologists could have different views on how many treatments you require. With technical questions like this it may be better to ring up the nurses on the helpline (the number is on the homepage) and they may be able to offer more precise information.

Jools has offered excellent advice. I would add that in my experience the oncologist told me how many weeks treatments I would be receiving, but there was a radiotherapy assistant in the room when they first told me exactly what treatment I would have, and I was given a telephone number for her office. I think it would be useful for you to ring your hospital and talk to someone actually concerned with your case (if it is you who is having the treatment). As Jools says, every case is individual.
