I'm home
Hi I'm home after my surgery. Had my lymphnodes under my left arm taken out,on Friday and sent home after just 3 days and I feel great. Still got the drain in and have to change it myself for a few days before I go back to clinic, but I don't mind better sitting at home than in hospital, even though the staff were great. So that is the first hurdle over. A bit of tlc now and then on to battle

That's really good news Ian - I'm so glad it all went well and that you're back home now and feeling great. I'm sure being at home will speed up the recovery process - don't forget to keep us informed of how you're getting on. All the very best, Kate xxx
Good to see you back Ian, and I'm glad it all went well! Told you it would be a doddle, didn't I?
Now comes the hard part... the waiting...

That you did Masha. LOL . I can't get over how well it went. The surgeon said they believed they got it all out. But although this wasn't a cure for the cancer. It was a start to my journey. It's got to be positve from here.
