Hi Peter and everyone else, next Thursday i am being interviewed by my local radio station HighPeak Radio, to help to promote our new Self Help Group for genetic cancers, i am going to mention that it is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and it also falls just after Prostate Cancer Awareness Week so will make sure that gets a mention as well, the station covers the whole of the High Peak area, so at least people in this area will be more aware. i shall make sure i get a ink from them in case anyone wants to listen to me lovely scouse accent!!!!

Pleased to hear your effort to 'raise awareness' of both these important cancers. Would have loved to hear you but you are unfortunately a little too far from Scouseland, so!!

How about recording it and putting it on YouTube? now there's a thought Alison, then we'll all be able to hear your lovely scouse accent!!

Hope it goes well for you love, you're doing a great job keep it up, but don't overdo it cos good scousers are rare.

i am sure that they will do like the BBC and have a link so people can listen to whats been said, as i said, listen at your own risk!!!!! a scouse accent well, you either love it or you hate it lol , and you know what Peter, you have helped me to realise that awareness of all these other cancers is so very important, so thank you for that and if ever i can help your group at all then please let me know, no matter how small or large, well, i will do the best i can to help, god knows we get little support as it is.

Re: your radio session. Could you please make an enquiry about a possible link or an address for iPlayer, it would be interesting to learn what's being being talked about at the time or what has been said. I can then send the information to my gynae colleagues.

We all wish you every success 'getting the message heard'.

Scouse accent ?? well at the possibility of offending 'non' scousers is there a finer accent or for that matter a finer 'language'??

Hi Peter, well, not sure when it is going on air but the interview is done, is going to be edited and as soon as i know when its been played then i should be able to put the link on here, i have said about Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and also about Prostate Cancer Awareness week, so lets hope it at least raises more awareness in this area.
