Penile Cancer
Theres not many on this website that have penile cancer. My hubby had penile cancer last year but has worked its way into his lymph glands. He had a massive tumour taken out 3 months ago and that was scary for him and upsetting for me as hes my rock. Now after getting a pet scan they found two more tumours and have to operate which will leave him with a large hole in his groin which will be left wide open, and plenty of skin grafts for a year. The last 4 months seem unreal and once the operation is done he will be in hospital for 3 months so the doctors say, which will be hard especially with 3 children. Thanks to JG on this website her hubby has penile cancer and its good to talk to her so i thank her now for listening to me and everybody else. Pink xx

Just want to say again that I wish you both the best of luck with this treatment. What you are going through is horrible, but they wouldn't be operating if they didn't think there is a good chance of it succeeding. It all sounds so tough though. Have you read Matt Embleton's posts? He has had just about everything and has been in and out of hospital like other people pop into Asda. He has some really practical coping tips, but still keeps his sense of humour (make sure surgeons don't whip that out as well!). Keep us posted as to latest, and Big Hugs to both of you. xxx Penny
