Radiation Pneumanitis

Hi has anyone suffered from the above (subject) my husband has completed 26 sessions of radiotherapy 2 months ago, 3 weeks ago he started with a dry cough and then breathlessness. Hes been given steriods which did help but now our oncologist has reduced these steriods and the syptoms have returned.

Neither your forum or your profile give enough basic information in order for others to help you. I would suggest you elaborate on the condition and the problem on both sites. People on this site will be happy and willing to help you but your information, to date, is too basic.

Hi Tworuts

Have you checked out the Cancerbackup main site, as that gives really good explanations of almost all eventualities resulting from side-effects of various treatments? I haven't personally heard about this one, but if your husband is really struggling, I think he should definitely go back to the hospital and get it looked at. Best wishes xxx Penny
