Secondary Cancer or something else?

My wife has been in hospital 7 weeks now with some sort of secondary cancer the doctors say. She has been unable to stand on her own so is confined to a hospital bed, her sight is completely blurd and her speech is very difficult to understand.She has had CT/MRI/EMA and Bone Scans and this week a Pet scan none of which has shown any cancer. She has also had some courses of antibiotics and a 5 day course of steroids,none of these have had any effect or showed any sign of improvement.Doctors say that the next move is for a Plasma exchange is this our last hope any help please.

hello, i can't really offer you any advice, but it may help if you ring the helpline on here, they are very good and may be able to give you some advice. i do hope things get better for you both soon. thinking about you both
