Asparagus in puff pastry
Asparagus in puff pastry

this is one that my kids and adults love, and so easy to make, but a bit decadent
goes really well with a baked potato and coleslaw
Ingredients
Instructions
lightly grease a large baking tray, lay the ready rolled puff pastry on it and using a sharp knife just score it around the edge about half an inch in, pre cook for about 10 minutes on gas mark 5, lightly boil the asparagus till just tender and let it cool a little, place the asparagus in a line down the centre of the puff pastry, brush the beaten egg around the sides (i normally do that just with the yolks as it saves using another egg) beat the egg yolks, creme fraiche and double cream and horse raddish and chives and seasoning together and pour over the asparagus and sprinkle the cheese on top, put on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 30 minutes until golden brown on top, serve up and enjoy xxxxx
