bladder cancer

Do you find people are walking on eggshells around you?

It already seems like a routine to be visiting hospitals or doctors on a more or less daily basis, so today I finally had a day with neither on the horizon. Also today I have to get some work done, it's been a very quiet week on that front, all the work that has come up clashed with an appointment so I have had to to knock it back. This is the other cost of cancer kicking in.

Firstly thank you for the comments, very welcome. Just got back from the hospital, been for an ultrasound scan and some x rays. Of course we don't get the results immediately for this but from his reaction I would judge there was nothing he found. No going back over the same place repeatedly and no look of concern. Do we all get better at reading body language?

So there I was, on the phone to my mate one night a few weeks ago. I was in my computer room, which in reality means - the spare bedroom. And with me being on my umpteenth cup of coffee needed to lose some of the liquid. Toddled to the bathroom and peed a few cups worth. Still on the phone (it's a man thing ladies, just like you go in pairs at the pub)

Well, I just got back from the hopsital. I've switched to a new surgeon and on the face of it I couldn't have chosen a better one to switch to. For anyone with Bladder Cancer you might want to note this name: MR MICHAEL J. SWINN. He works out of Spire Hopsital in Gatwick Park and NHS Redhill. He has just explained to me, in graphic detail what is wrong with me.

I am being treated for bladder cancer and now find i have recurrent bowel cancer. The bowel has got to be completely removed , and while treatment of the bladder cancer is still ongoing we dont know if its working.
If its not then I will have to have bladder removed as well and end up with 2 bags around my waist. Not a nice thought but only option.
