Well after writing my first blog on here I can honestly say it was like a released and like a breath of fresh air entered me, and the thoughts and comments left by others where so lovely and inspiring.

Is it time to rally the troops over this business about the PCT's not funding treatment or refusing to pay for treatment if you buy the drugs yourself.
Tomdog and Steffy are the tip of the iceberg but need our support.
Please take a look at Steffys blog "Refused Again" and give us some input.

I have just looked at the BBC Homepage and it has under' News 'on the top left of the page an article about,
DRUG APPROVAL FOR THE NHS TO SPEED UP.

worth a read, talks about NICE and Postcode Lottery and at the end of the article it said,
Have You Been Refused a Drug,
How will these changes affect you,
Have you had to wait for approval of a certain drug.

hi all, well tonight is the big night, so only just over an hour to go to the start of our new Self Help/Support group in Buxton, not sure how many people will turn up, but had a phone call from a lovely gent who is chairman of a few groups for prostrate cancer so he is going to drop in so should get loads of hints and tips from him, also had a phone call from a local chap who would have loved to come along tonight but he is off on hols today, so i know i will have one person there next month!!!!!
