Hi, just had devastating news mum (just aged 60yrs) diagnosed with secondary brain cancer from ovarian cancer, she was diagnosed in june 2006 with stage 3 ovarian, had successful surgery and 6 chemo's, now about to start radiation for brain. So gutted can't believe it has been missed again for so long by her G.P! Any advice, similar experiences love to hear from you, heartbroken-Rebecca xx

Typical isn't it. I really wanted to chat tonight, and I can't get into the chatroom. At last - at very long last - I'm starting chemo tomorrow [carboplatin and taxol], and though I know I have to do this, and really do want to get started, I am scared silly at the moment. I'm sure once I've had my first cycle and know what to expect, things will be better but at the moment I just want a hug.

Hello everyone.
Too much to tell you to go into the chatroon tonight. A very good but exhausting day today. I had an hour's appointment with my dentist this afternoon just to get everything sorted before starting chemo, so I decided to kill a few birds with one stone, and went into the office to see my supervisor and catch up with friends.
