Neuroendocrine Cancer

My 21 year old son Brian just died three weeks ago from this rare and aggessive cancer. With no symptom until the end he died within a month from his first doctors visit. I am hearbroken that this can happen to anyone let alone a young man. We hear about the major cancers but can hardly find anything on the rare cancers. I am searching for answers as to why he died so quickly why couldn't anything be done to save him. We took him to UCLA Medical Center where they finally did three days of chemo but to no avail. I don't really hear much about this type of cancer in our young, so I am searching message boards looking for stories in hopes to piece together some information.
