So the site has had a lick of paint...but it doesn't stop here. Over the next week we'll be bringing in a few more bits and pieces to improve things for you. I'm sure you'll spot some bits here and there that need a bit of extra love and attention. Please let me know.Also, leave a comment below to tell me what you think of the new look.thomas

Very green, Thomas. Basically fine, and very quickly done - looks more or less like What Now only green and grey. BUT THE PRINT IS TOO SMALL. I can't read the stuff under the headings below - well, not without a lot of peering - below 'about us' or 'people' . And as lots of us are over 50, it's a bit ageist. Even this is a bit small.

Puss - if you go to the "View" menu and choose "Text Size", you can make the print bigger (I've already done this!!!). So it's not the size that's a problem for me .... it's the pale blue bits which I find difficult to read!
Apart from that - so far it looks great Thomas (hope you managed to get some sleep).

Hi pat,I'll increase the text size in the bit at the bottom of the page a bit. Also, generally if you go to the View tab in your browser (not on the website) and choose a larger text size, it'll increase the font size. (I think that's what Kate meant)

Hi there Thomas

The new site looks good but I do have one quibble - is there any way you could get the page to fit in any screen resolution? Before the makeover, I didn't have to scroll across the page, only down so it makes a little bit more fiddly. Also, the list of active topics seems to have reduced to about 4 and when I click on More, I never seem to be able to actually bring up more - perhaps I'm just being thick!

Apart from that - well done!

Screen resolution:  the site has been enlarged and is now 1000px across which means you'll need your screen resolution at 1024/780 at the least. To do this you can go to your desktop, right click, select properties, then settings, then increase your screen resolution to that number. (I'd recommend this as most websites are now that wide at least)

Active forum posts. Thanks for spotting this one. I've changed it so now you should have a more link that takes you through to a longer list.

Well done Thomas and your efforts are appreciated especially the chat which is so much better. Still some tweaking here and there maybe but on the whole it is great.
